The right battery
The right battery for you may not be the same as your neighbor’s. In fact, Camions BL offers three different types of batteries to match your needs: the Starting battery, the Multipurpose battery, and the AGM battery.
The Starting battery
The starting battery is well suited for vehicles that make frequent trips and use few electronic devices. It is the most economical option. However, if you use this battery for a power-demanding vehicle, you may experience unplanned interruptions and premature battery wear.
The Multipurpose battery
The multipurpose battery is installed in about 90% of trucks. It offers all the advantages of a starting battery while also being suitable for vehicles that use more electronics. So, if you make deliveries, have a sleeper cab, a refrigerated unit, and need auxiliary power (TV, refrigerator, microwave), the multipurpose battery may meet your needs.
The AGM battery
Often considered the Cadillac of batteries, the AGM battery, thanks to its design, is more resistant to vibrations and offers enhanced performance and longer lifespan. In addition, its sealed casing prevents emissions, making it safe to use inside the cab.
If your vehicle uses many electronic devices, if you frequently charge equipment in your truck, and if you are willing to invest more for better long-term battery quality, we strongly recommend choosing a high-quality AGM battery.
