The Camions BL Family is growing with the acquisition of Freightliner Drummondville. The dealership, specialized in the sale and maintenance of Freightliner products, parts sales, and rentals, joined the company on February 25.
This transaction creates a trio of dealerships covering Estrie, Montérégie, Centre-du-Québec, and the Bois-Francs region. The dealership is now established in Granby, Victoriaville, and Drummondville.
“We are very proud to welcome the Freightliner Drummondville team into the Camions BL Family. It is a well-established company in the region. I am confident that the transition will be smooth and seamless, as there are many similarities between our two organizations,” said Samuel Lamoureux, General Manager and co-owner of Camions BL.
A smooth transition
The Drummondville company is already well established and composed of a high-performing team. The goal is to build collaboration between the three dealerships and share best practices, for the benefit of both customers and employees.
Western Star and Freightliner
This transaction brings the Western Star brand to Drummondville and the Freightliner brand to Victoriaville. Initially, only the Granby location carried both brands. This is a great addition that simplifies things for customers who own both types of vehicles.
“This will help us better serve our vocational customers in Drummondville. Western Star trucks are often used for 12-wheel trucks, roll-offs, lowboys, concrete mixers, and more,” said Philippe Lamoureux, Sales Director and co-owner of Camions BL.

Camions BL was founded in Granby in 1985 by Daniel Lamoureux and Jean-Claude Beauregard. Today, brothers Philippe and Samuel Lamoureux are leading the company with a vision focused on growth—aimed at better serving the company’s wide territory.
