Launching the Complètement Santé Employee Wellness Program

Camions BL is proud to announce the launch of its Fully Healthy program. Through this initiative, we aim to encourage our team to develop healthy lifestyle habits.

“The idea emerged at the end of a meeting where we were reviewing our post-pandemic health status. Some had already decided to get back on track, while others mentioned a lack of motivation. That’s when we decided to implement a collective project,” said Cédric Ménard, member of the Fully Healthy committee.

Health-focused activities all year long!

The goal behind Fully Healthy is to provide employees with tools and knowledge to develop healthy habits based on their own objectives. To achieve this, the committee has developed a series of activities.

We’ve swapped pizza lunches for poke bowl meals, offered healthy smoothies, set up a cycling club, a 30-day plank challenge, and more. Soon, a nutritionist will present healthy snack recipes using locally available products. The company will also raffle off a weekly basket of vegetables, and a kinesiologist will be available to answer employees’ training-related questions.

A collective effort

To maximize impact, we have rolled out the Fully Healthy program across all our branches (Granby, Drummondville, and Victoriaville). Each division has access to the same activities and can also add local initiatives.

The social club has even selected activities that positively impact both mental and physical health. The program includes Cirque du Soleil shows, comedy shows, mountain hikes, and more. At the same time, the company will organize a golf tournament for all employees and participate in the EnBarque Challenge of the Granby Hospital Foundation.

An opportunity to inspire

“Initially, the goal is to influence our team, but we would be proud to inspire other employers to follow suit. Establishing healthy habits has benefits for both physical and mental health. Considering the amount of time spent at work, I believe employers can play an important role,” added Samuel Lamoureux, General Manager and co-owner.
